Ha! The better weather is coming -- ride her to the local pretty spot, pack a picnic and get her to walk about just a little.

Ooooh! That can be did, yesindeedy! That can be did!

I know one where there are all the 'conveniences' close at hand, and no ankle biters, bicycles or motorcycles allowed, and because of the restrictions, very few folks visiting. Only thing missing is a lake or stream in the area. I think it's open to the public already this year. I'll call and see.

You have good ideas sometimes. Thank you Hon!

And the ants are not out yet, at least not in our yard.

Just changing the scene is a good start -- ya know?

Oh Indubitably So!

Snuck up a minute ago and caught Lisa and Tegar cuddling. That little cat was snuggled up in his Mom's arms just like a baby. He saw me come into the room and I swear the damn cat gave me a 'Look at Me' smirk, blinked at me and snuggled closer while making major biscuits on Lisa's (this time) well padded arm. She was trying to read ..... bet she has that last sentence memorized by now.

I were jealous .....

aw! My Monty is bar none the most affectionate cat I've ever known. He comes in and just spends a few minutes loving me, rubbing his mouth against mine, his head under my chin. He will stay as long as I let him and never says no to a cuddle. He thinks he owns me -- and he does!

[KnightOwl]KnightOwl - Mar 9, 2010 2:27 pm (#1887 of 1898) Reply

Heh! Face it. NO human owns a cat. The cat is the owner, and that's that. What better way to have a happy home and a full life of servitude?

Cats are great! Barkies are too! Just don't like the yap yap all the time.

Willow - Mar 9, 2010 2:29 pm (#1888 of 1898) Reply

they aren't too bad about the barking -- unless someone walks on 'our' golf course. ;)

I can just visualize a national championship tournament being held out your back door and the network folks coming over to ask you to keep the barkies quiet while the people are playing the nearest hole.

we had to put a cover on the gate so that the puppies can't see the gold course... heh...

What? You spoiled their live 'TV'? For shame, for shame.

Poor barkies!

Hump day is good. I sleep rather well on hump day. Must test this one for irregularities. Miki will keep the records.

MAJOR bunderthoomer last night. Other than way too much water in the ground I see no major damage in the SouthWoods, at least in my part of it.

Had to restart the puters and had static from the big one. Let it cool down a mite and it was raring to go when I hit the button. Is good now. Running a disc scan .....

Sorry. Just noticed this is the lurk thread. Won't happen again 'till the next time.

Thursday AM lurk ....

I'm through ......
